Meet Dr. James Lawson

Providing outstanding dental care in Encinitas since 1989, Dr. Lawson is well-known for his excellence.  Graduating at the top of his class from University of the Pacific and University of California, San Francisco, Dental School, he always strives to be the best.  Dr. Lawson gained advanced training during a residency program in La Jolla, CA and is a noted dental author. He remains on the leading edge of his profession by participating in extensive postgraduate education.  It is no wonder he has been voted “Top Dentist” in Encinitas by his peers every year since 2007.

Dr. Lawson is an award-winning travel photographer, noted for his work in architecture and landscapes.  It is an artistic endeavor which complements his aesthetic passion and excellence in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.  With his wife and two adult children, Dr. Lawson has traveled much of the globe.  Many of his travel photographs decorate the office.
